About TwinsFest
TWINSFEST is put together to commemorate the 19th Century twins genocide that took place in Nigeria.
The project is designed as an annual event to bring together twins and those of multiple birth all over the world to identify with their counterparts that lost their lives in the genocide propelled by superstition and selfishness.

Opening prayers.
Setting the Tone by the promoter

Unveiling of Statue of Unity by the State Governor.
Costumed carnival float on lowbed trailer by Twins from all continents. (10 invited Twins from each of the 7 continents of the world)
Ground-breaking for a Tourism village (Mary Slessor Heritage Project):
(a) Library for twins histology.
(b) Language and Art Centre
(c) Wildlife Centre – Endangered species only
(d) Recreational park and Adventure Accommodations.
Lunch Break (Guests visit Tour sites and return to Unity Park by 6pm)
